The London-based conservatoire has released the line-up for its new cross-artform festival

The Guildhall School of Music and Drama

The Guildhall School of Music and Drama has announced the lineup for its summer festival, Making It. This new festival, celebrating emerging artists and cross-art form collaboration, will transform the renowned conservatoire into a vibrant creative space, featuring live electronic music, digital displays, and a pop-up bar.

Among the diverse acts is Opera Makers, a performance of three new operatic works composed and written by students from Guildhall’s Opera Making MA, performed by singers from the Opera Course. Additionally, postgraduate singers will present Vocal Scenes, a selection of opera scenes directed by Victoria Newlyn.

Making It will run from 11 to 28 June at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
