The San Francisco Opera has revealed its 2024-25 livestream season.
The season will open with a production of Verdi’s “Un Ballo in Maschera,” featuring Michael Fabiano, Lianna Haroutounian, Amartuvshin Enkhbat, Mei Gui Zhang, and Judit Kutasi. This will be streamed on 15 September 2024 at 2pm.
Next is Poul Ruders’ “The Handmaid’s Tale,” starring Irene Roberts, Lindsay Ammann, Sarah Cambidge, and John Relyea. This will stream on 20 September 2024 at 2pm.
Wagner’s “Tristan and Isolde” will feature Simon O’Neill, Anja Kampe, Wolfgang Koch, Annika Schlicht, Kwangchul Youn, and Christopher Oglesby. This production will be available on 27 October 2024 at 1pm.
Eve-Maud Hubeaux, Jonathan Tetelman, Christian Van Horn, and Louise Alder will star in Bizet’s “Carmen.” The livestream is scheduled for 19 November 2024 at 7:30pm.
Puccini’s “La Bohème” will feature Pene Pati, Karen Chia-ling Ho, Lucas Meachem, Andrea Carroll, and Bogdan Talos, streamed on 10 June 2025 at 7:30pm.
Finally, Mozart’s “Idomeneo” will be presented, showcasing Matthew Polenzani, Daniela Mack, Ying Fang, and Elza van den Heever, available on 20 June 2025 at 7:30pm.
